Our “Sweetheart” Story

Hi, I’m Wendy, founder of Vintage Sweetheart Designs, a family-run business based in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the anthracite coal region. What started as a practical solution for furnishing our first home has blossomed into a passion for transforming tired, unwanted furniture into stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces.

We retail Fusion™ Mineral Paint, Milk Paint by Fusion, brushes, prep supplies and finishes from our workshop in Pottsville PA and from our booth at AnitaTrinket in Fleetwood PA. We also offer custom furniture painting services and hands-on workshops in Fleetwood.

More than six years ago, my husband Bob (affectionately known as the CEO — Carries Everything Out) and I began restoring and refinishing vintage finds. From hand-me-downs to yard-sale treasures, we discovered the joy of upcycling furniture before it was trendy. Today, we continue that mission, helping others breathe new life into their furniture and homes.
